Stalled on the side of 85.
I love the times in my life when the loneliness doesn't matter because I have amazing friends and amazing memories. And there's still so much more ahead of us.
On a (not so) side note, I'm still thinking about Friday night at the bowling alley
and the hand massages
and the heads on shoulders
and the arms around each other
and the nighttime car rides
and the cigarettes
and the silent two-way smiling stares
.
Sometimes you could just die from the lack of human contact.
And then there's dying from it coming all at once.
Make me potent, magnetic, no longer pathetic.
Perhaps this is what she needs.
