The more I find out about her, the more I think she's a douchebag. (I'm an asshole, I know.) But he could do so much better. And I secretly wish that he could have picked some intelligent goddess with a stunning personality to match her physique because then I could deal with the defeat. At least it would make sense then.

Instead, I'm indulging in the strong belief that he gets from me what he can't get from her. Which would be an empowering thought, aside from the fact that when it comes down to it, they are two and I am one.

Maybe if I stay in the game long enough, I'll be more than a benchwarmer.
