Me. My best friend and worst enemy at the same time. The author of this diary.

Emily. One of my best friends. We've known each other since freshman year, seeing as how we're in the same homeroom. She's one of the few people who can understand me intellectually and psychologically, one of the few people who understands the way I analyze other people's behavior. Like me, she's blessed with intelligence but cursed with laziness and a lack of motivation. I would say we've been through a lot of drama together, not with each other, but with other people. Anytime I have a problem, Emily's usually my solidarity because she usually feels the same way. She's beautiful- not just on the inside or on the outside, but both. She changes her hair color constantly, and unlike most people, it turns out well every time. When she gets mad, she gets mad- and rightfully so. She's also a fellow LoveLine fan and we both love Dr. Drew and Adam Corola. Often times you can find us quoting lines from last night's show. You can also find us talking about Degrassi or singing RENT. She knows about my fascination with and admiration for gay boys and she lovingly mocks me for it. She drives like a crazy person and is prone to road rage. She doesn't get enough of the good things she deserves in life. Go read her diary: http://deviousone.diaryland.com

Nelly. "But things change and guitar strings break."

Noel. My little 8-year old brother. He's been obsessed with cars since birth. In fact, since he was about 4 or 5, he's been able to name almost any car that can be seen on the road, sometimes even solely by the car's headlights. He's quite strange, irritating, annoying, and overall a pain. My sister and I are convinced he has ADHD. I haven't been the best big sister to him, but recently I've been trying to be better to him. He hangs out with my mom way too often resulting in nicknames like "mama's boy" from myself, Aileen, and even dad. He has also picked up my mom's filipino accent on certain words and therefore is quite inarticulate. He throws tantrums and is worse than I was when I was a kid (I was horrible). Although to his credit, he has picked up several amiable traits from me, such as the desire to play guitar and the ability to sing along with almost every single band I listen to. I'm just waiting until he becomes a teen, cause then he'll be a cool kid and we'll be able to get along. I hope.

Jerome. Another one of my best guy friends. I also met Jerome through PCN my freshman year. He's always fun to be around and we always have a good time when we're together. He loves Rooney and has followed them since the very beginning and hangs out with them after their shows. He's flown out to a couple of their shows, which just shows how devoted my dear Jerome is to his dear Rooney. He has excellent taste in music and style. He makes awesome band shirts and is an overall cool guy. He wears Curve cologne, which I have complimented him on on several occasions. We became especially close this past year when we did Stomp together for PCN. We haven't talked much since PCN ended, but I'm sure it'll be like old times once I see him again. We are known to make fun of people who talk shit about us/him/in general and are also known to make jokes containing several sexual innudenos. I think I love him most for his trust in me, as he shared with me some of his deepest secrets. We like to say things like "That was sex!" and "'Chu dun know meeee!". Both of us love San Francisco, Haight St., and RENT. He is wonderful and deserves the best.

Dad. Although he has a crazy ass temper, he is still the funniest, cleverest, and most loving dad ever. When my sister and I were younger he'd take us fishing and horseback riding at Halfmoon Bay. He built me a treehouse when I was younger, which still stands and still makes my friends say, "Whoa! You have a treehouse!" as if I didn't realize it. I definitely got my sense of humor from him, as he is quite funny, witty, and kickback. In fact, I think I also inherited his temper and addiction to using the car horn as a solution for every problem. Sometimes he pisses me off with his racial comments, which I try to make him aware of, and he's alos obsessed with cock-fighting (rooster fighting) which I'm against, but I still love him anyways because he's a good guy. Everytime he goes back home to the Philippines he buys all our family and friends food and gives them money. He sends people out to deliver groceries to families we know. Whenever he sees a homeless person he gives them money. He always gives money at church collections. He's still extremely close with all his best friends from high scool and college, and they have reunions almost every year. They always talk to each other on the phone and have parties. He always tells my sister, brother, and I about the bad things he used to do in high school and their clever cheating methods. He's so cool and I love him.
